Kia,
I don’t even know where to begin! But I’m going to start by saying thank you! Thank you for everything you have done for me throughout my life. Thank you for being my advocate, my teacher, and my friend. Thank you for the endless opportunities and for pushing me to see mu fullest potential. The life long friends I’ve made, who turned into my family, was all thanks to you.
Thank you for giving me a safe haven and an outlet.
I’m blessed to have you in my life. Please know when I take my bow this afternoon, I am thanking you for the impact you have made on my life. Dance will always hold a special place in my heart.
I love you endlessly, Ms. Kia.

~ The Beagens (and Maple)
Ms. Kia,
You are an absolute joy, as a teacher, director, and even fried. Your smile and zest for life inspire all those around you and you are a truly lovely human being. Thank you so much for your effort and I so look forward to dancing with you again.
XOXO,
~ Holiday O’Bryan
I first discovered my passion for dance while growing up training with various teachers in Reno. Now I am a professional choreographer, teacher and dancer in New York City and I chose to send my young niece to Kia. Not only is she receiving a strong foundation in her early technique, but she is discovering the same love of the art that I did! She eats, sleeps, and breathes dance. I couldn’t be happier about that. (Thank you Kia!!!)

Kia’s Fascinating Rhythm School of Performing Arts is one of the most exciting and creative dance studios I have had the pleasure and privilege to work with in recent years. They offer a very diverse and interesting schedule and, in addition to their principal Miss Kia Crader, have a very talented and industry-based professional staff.
I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to attend, be it a young novice looking for a new hobby or a professional dancer looking for a weekly or daily class to maintain their stamina, technique, and strength.
I was delighted to have been able to witness their recent holiday camp and was impressed at the lengths they went to ensure all students of ranging abilities were catered to.
My production company, based in London England, was delighted to have selected Kia and her studio to audition, cast, and supply the juvenile performers for the recent critically-acclaimed production of Peter Pan at the Eldorado Casino and we look forward to working with Kia’s studio on many exciting projects in the very near future, Aladdin next year, also at the Eldorado, to be specific!

Dear Kia,
I just wanted to drop you a quick note of appreciation. I know this year has been crazy, but I want you to know I see all your hard work and the love you put into this studio and even more importantly, the love you put into these kids.
For all that I see you do and the very many things we don’t see as a parent, thank you.
Thank you for creating and sustaining the magic that happens at FR Dance.
~ Tennley Vik
As a performer, Miss Kia teaches us and takes us out of the wheelchair, teaching us how to fly.
~ Evan Gadda
Kia,
I could write a book about how wonderful FR Dance is but I want people to read it, so I’ll keep it short and sweet!
Being a single mom I worried about raising a girl to be strong and independent, yet kind at heart. Then I found YOU and your studio.
They say it takes a village to raise a child well, we aren’t moving! The ‘village’ of FR Dance is filled with wonderfully caring, knowledgeable and inspiring teachers.
The dance environment is fun and filled with laughter. I’ve always felt welcome here. 10 years have passed since Sarah took her first dance class and I couldn’t be prouder of the person and dancer she has turned out to be.
Thank you so much for sharing your village.
Love you!

Ten years ago I was is search of a dance studio for my daughter, Katrina. I had danced professionally with San Francisco Ballet in the 80’s and knew first hand how important good training and a positive environment can be. I wanted quality teaching in varied disciplines but more than that I wanted a home where my daughter could grow in what she loved. I wanted her to feel safe and confident in herself. To learn the positive side of dance, that is, about being supportive and encouraging to each other so everyone can find their own personal best. I found that positive directorship at Kia’s Fascinating Rhythm School of Performing Arts.
Kia Crader has created a world of dance and Theater for Katrina that I had hoped for. Now ten years later Katrina is loving her time with dance. She has been able to develop special friendships through the years. She has had the special opportunity to give and get support from fellow dancers. She has grown into a beautiful dancer and person. Kia’s goal of delivering excellence to her students while keeping a friendly happy family environment has made all the difference.
My son Zachary, who now attends the University of Colorado, enjoyed multiple summers of fun with Tap and Theater classes. Kia’s summer programs are inviting for all levels and abilities. Zach was able to learn and grow in a way that benefits him today as he pursues a degree in aerospace engineering. I feel blessed to call Kia’s Fascination Rhythm School of Performing Arts our home studio.

Dear Reno Philharmonic and Chorus,
Thank you so much for sharing your energy and talent with me to give the people of Reno two great shows! Kia Crader and her fabulous dancers were a big hit. Of course, JR Johns and his his furry friends sent us into new heights of cuteness! The young musicians of the Sierra Nevada Children’s Chorus and the Celebrate Strings program really did so much to showcase the thriving music organizations that we have in Reno. I would say that we kicked off the Holiday Season in high style! You guys are the best!
~ Jason Altieri
Reno Philharmonic Orchestra Guest Conductor
Hi Kia
Just a quick message to say a big ‘THANK YOU’ for all your hard work in getting the kids ready for the RPO show! Hours of extra practice, lack of sleep, sick and tired dancers, etc. They did a great job! The ‘Rockette’ number was spectacular as always!
My goodness, Kia, you never stop! You are like the energizer bunny!!!
Anyway, thanks once again for everything!
~ Lynn King
My daughter has been dancing with Miss Kia for the past 8 years. The staff and classes at Fascinating Rhythm have developed her skills and fostered her love for dance. Today, she is a strong dancer with a passion for all types of dance thanks to her experiences at Fascinating Rhythm. Thank you Miss Kia!
~ Shauna Nelson
Thank you, thank you, thank you again for all the work you and the staff put into the recital, we all had so much fun watching it and Natalie really enjoyed being part of the show. She is still dancing her dance routines throughout the week, on her way to the car, at church, whenever. We heart Fascinating Rhythms! 🙂
Thank you again, you and your school gave us a wonderful memory to start the summer!
~ Chris Flowers
In 2006, my then 5 year-old son, Logan, looked up at me after viewing the movie Happy Feet and said, “I want to learn dance like Mumbles!” Fast forward to the year 2010… Logan is now 9 years-old and appearing on stage in New York City at Radio City Music Hall in the world famous Christmas Spectacular.
This is an accomplishment that never would have happened had Logan not been a student at FASCINATING RHYTHM SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS.
When Logan first mentioned his desire to learn to tap, I immediately picked up the phone to contact Kia Crader. I have known Kia personally and professionally for over 25 years and you would be hard pressed to find a finer tap dance instructor anywhere. Fascinating Rhythm is a nurturing studio whose professional staff encourages individuality and creativity in each of its students.
Whether your child is interested in dancing purely for exercise or is seeking a professional career, the foundation they will receive at Fascinating Rhythm will benefit them at every stage of their lives. Dance is an art form which encourages self expression, coordination, creativity and discipline. Logan, thanks to Kia and the entire staff at the studio, will forever be blessed with a life experience which will shape him profoundly.
